The pikkolo may be worn on the front facing in or out, on your hip, or
on your back. The instructions show you how to do these carrying
positions. If you are new to babywearing, we recommend you practice at
home, when your baby is rested and content. Have another person help you
at first if you do not feel comfortable. Once you place your child in
the carrier, get moving. Walk around, even if you are just inside the
house. Babies prefer motion to standing still, although once they are
accustomed to the carrier, they may be content to be held more still.
